The 100 series valve positioner is made of aluminum housing, used for single acting and non hazardous areas, and controlled by 4~20mA signals.

The 100 series valve positioner is a digital field device with high integration microprocessor. The positioner consists of the following components:
• Housing and cover
• PCB printed circuit board
• actuator travel test assembly
• Screw terminal box
• The pneumatic valve control and amplification part of the piezoelectric valve assembly is arranged inside the housing, and the pneumatic interface of the inlet and the output pressure is positioned on the right side of the positioner.


The 100 series intelligent electric valve positioner works very differently from the traditional positioner. The working mode is microprocessor, which compares the given value and position. If the microprocessor detects a deviation, it uses a five step switching program to control the piezoelectric valve, which then regulates the flow of air into the actuator chamber. The microprocessor outputs an electrically controlled instruction to the piezoelectric valve according to the magnitude and direction of the deviation (the given value W and the position feedback signal x). The piezoelectric valve will control the displacement quantity increase instruction transformation for the gas, when the control deviation is large (high speed), the locator output a continuous signal; when the control deviation is a low velocity zone (locator output pulse;}, when the controller deviation in the allowable error range (adaptive or adjustable, no dead state) control command output + 100 series positioner mounting assembly is fixed to the proper stroke or rotary actuator, actuator straight or angle shift components installed and connected to the detection of wear resistant conductive plastic potential by converter. The angular error of the components detected on the direct stroke actuator is automatically corrected. When the 100 series is connected by a two-wire system, it completely acquires power from the given signal between 4 and 20mA. The pneumatic valve set with pre controlled piezoelectric valve can release a short control pulse so that it can achieve very accurate positioning accuracy. The main component is a piezoelectric flexible switch, which is connected with the main air control circuit. The piezoelectric valve set has a very long working life. Field operations are performed by buy LCD and 3 input buttons. Automatic, manual and configuration can be switched by button. In manual mode, valve actuation is actuated over the entire range. Auto initialization, using a simple configuration menu, you can quickly configure the 100 series, or you can adjust the 100 series through the automatic initialization function.

    Shaft bearings isolate the pinion gear from the housing and support the shaft for high-cycle applications. Many competitive manufacturers do not provide this critical feature.
  • High Cycle-Life Wear Pads
    Pistons incorporate double wear pads (skates) to separate the rack from the actuator wall and serve as both guide and wear bearings.
  • Rugged Tooth Design
    The pinion teeth are engaged the full length and stroke of the piston, and designed for the toughest flow conditions. The pinion height allows manual override without needing to remove the indicator.
  • Multiple Output Shafts
    The female pinion drive is standard with a double-square output drive, and optional with a double-D drive, keyed drive and designs to meet your specific requirements.
  • Namur Mounting
    Namur VDI/VDE 3845 and ISO 5211 dimensions on all sizes. No special blocks are required to mount solenoid valves, limit switches or positioners.
  • High Visibility Beacon
    External open/close indicator as standard, available for all rotations.
  • Safe Preloaded Spring Cartridges
    Epoxy-coated special steel springs are pre-loaded with non- metallic materials. The stainless steel end-cap fasteners are extra-long to allow for spring relaxation. All parts are corrosion-resistant.
  • Alternate Operating Media
    Air pressure operation from 40 to 150 psi (2 to 10 Bar). Water, nitrogen and compatible hydraulic fluids may also be used to power the actuator.
  • Stainless Steel Fasteners
    All external fasteners are corrosion-resistant stainless steel.
